Ever since the beginning of MMOs they have been marketed with a lady with huge mammaries in skimpy armor on the cover and in prominent promotional artwork. Im guessing the marketing concept being pushed here is "hot women play MMOs, come meet them" which is sad in itself... but nevertheless it is effective. History has shown product + hot woman = sales.

Yeah, it's pretty nice to see a marketing campaign that has matured a bit and that doesn't target the lowest common denominator.

I see it differently, Skyrim is still fairly fresh in people's minds, so to market the easily recognizable Nord makes sense.

Argonians are the real hook here, no need for supermodels.

I'm not sure if it is the norm.. But anytime a trailer includes a sixy woman character that is easily taking down other characters, my wife thinks it looks like a good game.

She also spends probably 1-2 hours in character creation, making sure she looks good and has a cool name.

So do cheesburgers. Maybe we should put up pictures of a cheesburger?
