can't really say how long it took me , but it was near 10 hours . but I did mess around alot in the game , and nothing was left alive . I Stealth killed half the ennemies in the game which required some time and thinking :P .

On Post-Human, first playthrough, 7 hours and 20 minutes. Largely a stealth playthrough with exploration for collectibles. Seems very short given the amount I did. Although I'm not sure if the statistics count the time lost due to death? Which wasn't much, but would probably take things up to 8 hours.

For me it took circa 10 hours and 40 minutes on "Veteran" ... but I tried to find all secrets, easter eggs and stuff (I found nearly all official secrets and stuff), tried to figure out great tactics to kill them all in a stylish efficient way ... and for sure I relished the setting!!!

First .... it's sooooo **** awesome

Second .... it's sooooo **** amazing

Third .... it's sooooo **** mind blowing

After all, reading so much biching and hating before release, which was still funny and a great pastime (I'm one of these fanboys with belief in Crytek), I had a really great experience playing this game. Unbelievable nonstop changing scenery (everybody yelled for Crysis should be happen in a city, and we got a really really fascinating one), great graphics (yes, only with DX9, yeah some textures could be better, but there were so much detailed textures and stunning moments, so it's fully OK for the moment ... just for the heck of it, I'm waiting for the DX10 patch too) and physic effects (I can not list them all), extreme impressive cutscenes, a thrilling story, an absolute defying AI (for sure there were some very less bugs, who cares playing a brand-new game, but all in all I had a extreme great challenge), very good music and sound, absolute perfect stereoscopic 3D (without extra driver profile from nvidia) with a drop of only 5-10 fps at the highest achievable graphic settings (extreme sharp, I had no ghosting, the only thing I missed were some pop outs) .... deductive it's an perfect game for the moment, for me the best FPS since Crysis Warhead and for at least 2011!

I'm sorry for all having problems, but bear up for the moment, it will be extreme worthwhile!

Unfortunately my English is not so good to write all my thoughts and feelings here without to much work on it ... so I finish with: logical there are some improvements possible, but anyway, thx Crytek for this rising game!

PS: see ya in the MP spreading your brains to the walls ;P

5 hours and 33 minutes on Soldier.

Im doing on maximum difficulty now....

So much for 12-15 hours depending on skill level that Nathan told us. What is even funnier is that reviewers said so as well rofl!

7 hours and 49 minutes on soldier. I have just passed road rage on veteran without to much fuss. It is challenging but playing stealthy with suppressed weapons makes it a bit easier.

well it was a damn long game bro, I was quite happy with the length, staying dedicated got me through, and I didnt kill all the enemies, and I didnt explore all the areas, I pretty much went speadily through the game, which was a bit stressfuly blissfuly intense.

I really don't get this, it's a very long game, it's not a 15 hours game but it's a 10 hours game. It's your own fault if you decide not to enjoy what the game offers and just rush in without any strategy.

I'm a veteran PC gamer and it took me 8 hours to beat the game on the Normal difficulty. Are you guys just stealthing through entire battles?

Do you guys not observe the scenery? Listen to enemy conversation? Plan out your attack? Take the time to search for equipment? Have fun with physics and enemies?

I have no idea how the hell you guys are beating this game in 6 **** hours. It took me almost double, and I was playing at a pace I felt was natural on Veteran difficulty.

took me about 10 hours, maybe less on normal. This was probably because I just kept using a safe approach of kill one, go to cover so encounters took me a long time. I don't really care, I enjoyed every minute of it. The twist at the end was unexpected.
