80 hours of game just got corrupted

Yep, 80 hours. I experienced very few bugs at all during my time, but now after beating every side quest I found, leveling my courier to max level and getting every quest line down to the final mission at Hoover Dam, just as I was choosing which storyline to finish first, I [censored] you not. Bam. Froze. So I restart my console. Boom. Save file corrupted. [censored] great.

Is there anything I can do at all to get my save back? If not then screw this game, there's not a chance in hell I'm doing all that again.

Note: Also if my sig doesn't make sense it's because it refers to Brink. I post there more than here.

Most likely, you're screwed.

That's what happens when you don't make more than one save.

I think I finished my first playthrough with around 400 separate saves. Of course I would go through and delete old ones every now and then (which, in your defense, is a bit easier for me to do on PC than for you to do on 360).

The point is, you can't expect to play through a huge, open world game like NV overwriting the same save and not expect something like this to happen. You should keep at least 10 different saves, minimum.

Well, I learned the hard way I guess. It is my first Fallout style RPG, though. I'll know next time.

Yeah, with big, ambitious games like this these things just happen sometimes. Not much you can do about it.

Of course the fact that NV is so ridiculously buggy doesn't help either.
