EDIT: Removed due to [censored] people not having the common sense to properly read something before they post.

Water cuts are always a PITA, thankfully they are quite rare.

Is there, like, a shop you could buy a bottle of water from?

I was going to offer you advice, but your sitting here whining to people on a forum about it. If you really want to get water, you'll go get some water.

I don't feel like paying $2.00 for a bottle of water.

Shower sized?

That would be a nice invention.

Sure, he wont be able to get enough for a shower, but if he's complaining about not having any to drink...

Woe is you. Frankly, as Gamgee said, if you really want some water, get some water.

Then, no offence, you're obviously not desperate.

Last thing Ninjafish does as he's having pain spasms from severe dehydration and can't press the buttons to call for an ambulance: Not paying 2.00 for some water.... *passes away*

Edit
It's unusual to get headaches from caffeine withdrawal. Not big ones at least unless your super addicted. Meaning it's likely your suffering from minor dehydration, keep it up for long enough and you can die.

So why don't you go to the Y or a friends/family memeber's house to shower and buy yourself a bottle of water?

Try living on $11,000 a year and see how much money you have to afford that $2.00 of water when you need it.

Well, lets see. For water to supply me with drinks, and enough for me to take a shower, this would probably total up to about $25.00. See above ^.

Meh, I had no water for a good 4 days over Christmas, you learn to cope.

2L water is really cheap, and then it's about the same for a pack of wet wipes for a makeshift shower.

Do you have friends to whom you could visit and get water and a shower? Or does your work have showers/a sink?

Or can you literally not get our your house?

Well the [censored] doesn't want to take our warnings seriously. Let's hope he's not put on the darwins list and a magical tooth fairy arrives in time to turn his water on for him. The human body can't go much longer than 2 days without water, assuming you were hydrated to begin with. If you start getting unusually groggy or tired you might want to consider an ambulance as you might pass out from the minor dehydration at that point. Depending on how long your out you might awake to some nasty surprises.

Edit
Whoever had no water over 4 days is lying through their teeth, or unaware some drinks still contain water. This was the most likely case.

It's fine, you end up with pretty awful hair, but drinking bottled water and cleaning with wet wipes does a good job in general. It's just like camping.

The other thing is if you're having that bad of caffiene withdrawl you should probably cut down on the coffee.

I'm sure if you went to a gym you could easily use a water fountain and shower....

You remind me of that episode of South Park where they turn to Cannibalism in 5 minutes of being snowed in and end up eating everyone from out of town in 9 hours.

Unfortunately, anyone within distance is at work. And then everyone else is rather far away. And I can get out, but unfortunately there is like 2 feet of snow outside, and walking in that seems pointless until I may actually be dying.

Is it just me that thinks 12 hours is like no time at all?
I'm pretty sure that I can go 2 days without water, though I hate not having a shower, it's not impossible; especially if you are guarenteed it back the same day.

Can't you buy bottled water, or use a friend/neighbours shower/sink?

At least you still have an internet connection. ^_^

You need to boil the water for at least 10 minutes before you drink it if you are going to be using snow to kill any microorganisms. I don't know what kind of filter you are using but I would not rely on that alone.

I don't know what the exchange rate is, but I'm on £9k a year, and I could stretch to a bottle of water if I needed it :P Had no water for a day here before it got sorted, so that's what I did (didn't have hot water for over three weeks, that svcked too).

Juuust lovely. Doesn't this fall under some, human rights law or something?

Depending on your local tenant laws, you might be able to deduct a portion of your rent payment. There should be some kind of tenant advocate group in your city that you can call for free advice.
