Mr. House build.

Just decided to make a House palythrough, as he is the only party I have yet to side with.

Wondering what skills I should specialize in.

I was thinking Speech, Guns, Lockpick, and Science. Maybe energy weapons, just because I haven't used them much in NV.

Maybe 5ST, 3PER, 5END, 8CHR, 8INT, 5AGL, 6LUCK

I dunno, help me out.

Energy weapons are fun. Two builds I've worked out that have been successful

Plasma Focused
Major Trait: Fast Shot
Secondary Traits: Kamikaze, Built to Destroy
Major Perks: Math Wrath, Plasma Spaz, Action Boy, Meltdown, Grim Reaper's Sprint
Strategy: Less focus on sneaking and critical hits, and more on volume of VATS attacks at medium to close range. Can get around 10 VATS attacks with some weapons.

Laser Focused
Major Trait: Built to Destroy
Secondary Traits: Any
Major Perks: Light Touch, Finesse, Better Criticals, Meltdown, Grim Reaper's Sprint, Laser Commander
Strategy: More focus on critical hits. Not as many VATS attacks, but has more utility for sniping

I don't worry about combat skills personally. My usual build (I usually side with House)

Tag: Barter, Speech, Lockpick

Traits- Wild Wasteland, Good Natured.
Useful Perks- Jury Rigging, Animal Friend, Tag, Lead belly, Rad Resistant, Comprehension, Educated, Lady Killer.
Useful Implants- Luck, Intelligence, Charisma.

Preferred method of Quest completion: The 'Good' way or the peaceful and friendly way.

Weapon of choice: Fully Modded Cowboy Repeater, Silenced 10mm Pistol, Silenced Sniper Rifle.

See, I like speech/ science, but I also like killing things with extreme prejudice.

And I feel like barter is a waste in NV.

Barter is pretty useful for some skill checks. It's Survival that is next to worthless.

Sounds like you've got almost all you need to do a Mr. House playthrough!

Round it out though. Make it real by doing a lot of bogus projections and anolysis to prove that your murderous justifications are sound. Just like the big man himself! And don't forget to act holier than thou and command everybody from your high horse! :goodjob:

I did have one character who sided with House all the way through to the end. I focused on the following skills:

Speech. Energy Weapons. Science. Medicine.
