My house door wont work

Post » Thu Dec 10, 2009 5:32 pm

So I took a house exterior, and put a matching door, I had to disable snap to grid because the door wouldn't snap into place, now I double click and set it to teleport into my house' s interior cell and I put the marker with the arrow head pointing away from the door in front of the door (inside the house). The door originally came with the "blocked" box checked I tried it with or without that checked (what does it mean) but all the door does when I activate it is hinge on its center z-axis. Any help?

Could you provide the id of the door, that would help us understand a bit more.

this (http://www.morrowind-oblivion.com/morrowind_cs3_tutorial.php) mentions some stuff about the blocked option. Basically its put there to stop people editing that door "accidently".

When you place the marker, you need to go back to the "door" window thing and make sure you save it, then save the entire mod for it to happen ingame. The rotation thing means that youve used an interior door, but you havent set a destination for it (or havent saved it).

And don't forget to have plenty of room around those marker arrows. Sometimes if you stick the tail end of it into walls/objects too far, the player may become stuck. Just something to think about. And you didn't have to disable your snap, you just didn't find a good number to work with. Even a snap of 1 still works well, if all seems hopeless. Good luck! ^_^
