2E House Dres and Morrowind

Post » Sun Feb 09, 2014 6:30 pm

I am planning to do an AAR with one dude in the Great House of Dres. I am playing Crusaders Kings II with the mod Elder Kings.

So, I have a few questions about House Dres?

What was their common soldier like?

What was their architecture like?

What were the ideals for them?

They worshipped ancestors, but which of them? The most recent ancient ones? Or the first of the Dunmer kind or even further than that?

How did they worship their ancestors? I know that every family had a private tomb beneath their own palaces. But how else? Did they value people who were like their ancestors or thet valued some arbritrary traits?

How was the slave trade organised?

Was there any infighting in the House of Dres?

I know so much, that if we think that TES V high elves were bad, House Dres elves didn't even fit on the scale.

Any ansvers will be appreciated, thank you.

House Dres is, according to Vivec, a House comparable to the settled Chimer before the Tribunal's ascension.

Very conservative. Renowned for the slave trade and their huge plantation in Deshaan.

Their architecture?

I don't know if I am saying too much here, but according to ESO, you just have to take a closer look to Mournhold (what is supposed to be Indoril architecture) to get an impression of 2E Dres architecture.

Also, the city of Kragenmoor (Hlaalu territory by the 3E) is a Dres bastion in the 2E.
