So, in some bizarre glitch that i never had before, i started the the "missing in action" quest, and upon getting the book clue about his brother's location i went back to the house only to find it locked, i picked the lock but Avulstine who was inside was treating me like a trespasser, and wouldn't talk to me, was forced to use "moveto player" after targeting and use it outside to get the quest moving.

I found the solution by visiting the UESP wiki, where the most recent discussion on the mission was about that specific glitch, dated 10 september, wich leads me to belive the glitch is rather recent? Did anyone else happen to run into this glitch? I run alot of mods in this run, but i also did so in past one and never had this happen.

I have never had any issues using the backdoor to the Home. The Front Door seems to always stay locked.

I checked both doors, and both were locked. The problem is none of then are supposed to be locked while doing the mission at all.
