NEVER deal with Daedra if you feel uncomfortable with the results. You may have to do things you may not want to do, but that's the Daedra for you.

I learned from OB that Bethesda games, or at least the late TES ones, make it almost impossible to play the game widely while role playing a good character. There was one really sickening stage in the Fighter's Quest in OB which wasn't avoidable except to abandon this major quest.

I realized this before buying SK and live with it.

The thing about the Fighter's Guild is that you DIDN'T KNOW what you were doing. You can't be faulted for that.

Still, it was disgusting. One of the victims was a chick I did a minor quest for.

Yep, there's a difference between knowingly doing something, even if forced, and being tricked with no way of knowing your actions until afterwards (plus, that was the Blackwood Company's contract, it was mostly to show you that they're evil bastards). I would've liked an option to exorcise Molag Bal from the house

(worked with Vaermina's quest)
.

And I found it pretty easy to be good in Oblivion. Fighters Guild was pretty honorable, Mages were fighting evil Necromancers, Thieves were practically Robin Hoods, even some of the Daedric Quests were sort of tame (even Boethia's!). I'm glad the quests in Skyrim are less generic, I just wish we had more options in which to handle them.

Nothing beats the thieves guild quest line were you have to sell your soul to nocturnal, or you have to sell your soul for nocturnal, and you get a nice lloking armor, because the dragonborn couldnt kill a old man by himself in some dwemer ruins.

In defense of that questl-line I have to say the dialogue during the last quests make that deal sound way better than it does at the start though. And I was put off, and very much in doubt, when Karliah went "Oh by the way, you need to sell your soul to Nocturnal". But after returning the key and meeting the ghost of Gallus the idea of becoming one with the shadows, watching over thieves, etc suddenly began to sound more like a Sovngarde equivalent for thieves and spies instead of "Once you kick the bucket, you get to wander around this tiny room for all eternity" thing I thought it was to begin with.

Besides, if the dragonborn for some reason wouldn't want to go there, I'm quite certain Akatosh would have dibs on your soul regardless and would torture Nocturnal with floodlights until she lets you go.

As for the questlog in Skyrim I've learnt to deal with it more like my character's memory than an actual to-do list. You might not want anything to do with Molag Bal or Aventus trying to contact assassins. But if someone mentions it to you then you can't just erase it from your brain.

Firstly this game is designed to appeal to the largest group possible to maximize profit return therefor it would make sense there would be evil quests in it because some people love playing evil
Secondly you obviously didnt think about it thoroughly when you were doing it or you could just stop or go back to a slightly earlier save.
Thirdly why is it such a big deal? lol You do an evil quest la la la...do it and move on. Its not the end of the world.
Fourthly it's should HAVE

I actually like the quest. It does exactly what it should, and fits with the lore on Molag Bal. You are a victim in this as well, you dont get to say 'no'. Its like complaining about not being able to opt out of being mugged at gunpoint.
