I like the more destroyed look, however I am sure some would be 'untouched' while others would have been rigged to function. Maybe some are patched with limbs? Good sketches, thank you. ;]

Would be sweet to have towns like these, that are not overly destroyed by the war, but have been destroyed by old age and weather. Image

Or by Raiders! Anyway, very good concept art, it's great. Thank you for it. Really like it. Image

Here's hoping for a Beatles-themed quest on V13.

I just hope they make the raiders more "stylish" here, I just hate how they are in F3, everyone are psychos with bodyparts everywhere.... The raiders in f1-2 are better I think, they are more like organized crimes.

The Khans from F1-F2 are more the raiders I would like to see. Also the big raider camp from F2, those guys that are harassing Vault City, are also raiders that are more realistic from my perspective. Image

I hope these houses (if used like on the image) are not used like in Fallout 3, where they have been totally out of place, imo. Image

These do look pretty cool.

I like the look of those in FO3, but they do look pretty misplaced. Hoping I can open and enter houses more often than in FO3.

these houses look like they've been thorough a blizzard, not the apocalypse. esp the last one looks brand new

the sketches themselves look pretty nice though

Those houses dont look like 200 years old. Reminds me of fallout 3. There are building in worse condition in my neighborhood... hahaha... Thats actually sad :?

No.
Too Failout3ish.

Can't you just go back to Fallout's roots instead of trying to appeal to the "New-gen" gamers?
Make some art that old Fallout fans would actually enjoy.

I do agree with you in a way.
(I was also very dissapointed when I saw F3 wouldn't be like F1/F2 but that's a whole other story)
I'd like to see more F1/F2 style drawings, but let's be honest...
People who played (and loved) F1/F2 are a minority compared to the ones who only really know F3 I think.
So that's why I think they try to make it agreeable (for lack of a better word) for both parties.

That's also why they made F3 the way it is now, to appeal to a bigger audience.
(I was very sceptic about F3 when I saw the screenshots and movies, but once I started playing it.. it turned out to be a quite enjoyable game. The best thing about F3 imho is that it made me think back to the time I played F1/F2 and the awesome time I had doing that. That's worth something... isn't it? I think so!)

(sorry for my rant)

I did enjoy F3 to be honest, but up to a certain degree :/ then I saw all the flaws. But still there is one thing that is really good about F3, its the endless possibilities to mod the game ^^ made some myself but there are really great mods for the game and personally those mods where better than the official DLC:s that Bethesda gave out

But in the end F3 can't stand up to the original fallout if I may say so.

Oh... ehum if Chris is reading.. I know you don't like it when we talk about other companies/games here so.... We shouldn't write too much about it now :/ Image

I think the sketches look great. And I think that most houses will be very skeletal, while others will look to be in a semi-good condition, not mint-new becuase of the wear & tear of time. And remember guys, these are just concepts, the final detailed stuff may look alot different.

This looks nice...I don't see the comparison with 3 stick of a building as in FO3...oh just heard that we can't mention other games didn't know that...so is that true or ???...how will I than point out something witch is better or worse... Its better to live 3 days as a Lion, then spend the rest of your life as a hyena!

If you're going for the 50's era nuked I'd say you nailed it with this style. If you see Metal Maniac, let him know I'm looking for 'em.

These look great. Some tin-walled structures would work well. "What would your good do if evil didn't exist, and what would the earth look like if all the shadows disappeared?"
