Housing Physics Problem

I bought the house in Riften. It's a nice little house. However, all of the items that were sitting on tables phased through the furniture one day, so my house looked trashed. There was food all over the place upstairs, with alchemy ingredients and soul gems scattered everywhere downstairs. Some items got stuck under furniture and I can't even clean them up because I can't reach them. Worse still, some of the non-interactive items like those big knives and forks phased through the furniture and now they're stuck on the floor permanently. What the heck happened? I cleaned up the mess to the best of my ability, but my house looks like garbage now because it's not decorated. I have the dragonborn book to the left of my bed, on a nightstand, and it seems to drift to the right. Every time I enter the house, it's further and further to the right side of the desk. This probably happened to all of the other items as well, which is why they fell. Does it happen in every house or just the house in Riften? And worst of all, the mannequins downstairs keep moving on their own. Usually just a few feet from where they were supposed to be, but one time a mannequin was making a weird pose in front of my enchanting table! I think this house is haunted or something.

I liked that house as Riften is where my character wanted to live, but it doesn't look nice anymore. I would re-decorate it myself, but because the book keeps moving, I'm afraid to. Is it possible Bethesda could patch this?

Does anybody know? I'm not sure I should risk moving my wife into a new home if it's just going to happen there as well. Somebody speculated that it may have something to do with loading up autosaves in the home, which is something that I have done fairly often. I'm not sure if that's the cause or not, though.

I do hate to triple post, but it looks like this thread went ignored. At the very least, can somebody confirm if this is happening to everybody, or is it just a random glitch?

I play on the 360. I haven't messed with any settings, so that's not something that I did.

I had the same problem with my house in Whiterun. No idea how to fix it on PS3, there is a fix for PC I heard related to FPS. The coming patch may fix it.
