Well there ARE giant mudcrabs scuttling about. And the khajitt have giant cat mounts, and I am sure the argonians don't use horses by themselves either. there is plenty of room for actual crazy lore friendly mounts.

People who think TES games are built on the lore and it should be #1 in ALL matters. End of story, no debate. (aka Die Hard TES fans). If one want stupid stuff in their games, go play a F2P game. ESO is for who want a real game, not kiddie stuff.

Things like turtle mounts and such are kinda fun when you get them. You ride around on it for a while and laugh at the silliness of it all.

The novelty quickly wears off when you walk into one of the main hubs and EVERYBODY is riding one.

I did quite enjoy my helicopter in WoW. Of course, that was limited to one profession so it generally wasn't something you saw twenty of hanging around the auction house.

yes, i agree. theres a time and place for the fun part of these type things but when it gets to where there are hundreds of people that have animals or pets that arent part of the lore it gets too silly and kinda seems less fun.

That is why it should NOT even get started in the 1st place.
