How do I access the map function in Oblivion?

Post » Wed Dec 07, 2011 1:48 pm

I looked in the booklet and at the map that comes with the game but that map only shows the major cities nothing else. So what button brings up the map in Oblivion?

Oblivion's menus are a confusing mess. First, press your "Tab" key. Second, click on the compass at the bottom right of your menu screen. Third, click on either the first tab on the left to see your local map or the second tab to view your world map.

An easier way to do it is press F4 and then select either of those tabs.

If you're playing on PC of course.

Don't worry about not being able to find it at first, the first time I played oblivion I didn't know you could fast travel.

In the world map if you want to see more of the world you'll need to scroll it. On xbox this is done with the right stick, not sure how it's done on PC.

Welcome to the forums!

You scroll by clicking and dragging the map on PC.
