I want to ally an npc. After reading everything I could find in the console commands on WIKI and trying every version of form id's etc.I could think of the console will not accept any of them. I have also searched for help in the forums and could find nothing.

Would anyone be able to tell me exactly what the proper command is and how to inter it so the system will accept it ?

^ set relationship rank 3 is sufficient, "ally", 4 is "lover" and designed for spouses, you could get some inappropriate comments as a result!
