Okay, so I have two quests tied in with the airport they are holed up in, but those damned howitzer guns keep blasting me to the high heavens. So how do I approach them?

PS, preferably a non-violent way, as I'd like to approach them peacefully.

Hide, run, hide. They won't blow you up if they can't see you (unlike the sniper shooting the cars in Minefield) and as long as you time your runs well and have a recent save you can get it.

Took me about 5 tries before I found a good pathway.


I also took up the bet with that guy who says if you give him 300 he'll give you 600 caps if you make it to the gate and back...then he walked right out into the open and got blown up, so I took my caps back plus the additional 300.

FFFF, that still doesnt make it easier. Looks like I better blow my caps on Stimpaks XD

Haha, just did this before I got off. I would recommend taking the bet off George to get some extra caps and he gives you tips how to avoid the artillery. Just keep on the left side and hide in the buildings. When they stop firing at you move on to the next building(s). Your aim is the fence so quickly run towards it when you get as close as possible; they can't shoot you there.
Also, I find it hilarous how many artillery shots they'll use just to take down 1 person.. xD

I just redid it and oh man it was easy. All I did was hug the rock wall until the gate XD
