How are we going to enter the divide? : Fallout: New Vegas

How do u think were gonna enter the divide?

bliviongate: DM drugged us and kidnapped us, HH opened a cliff that let us to Zion, and OWB teleported us away. Of course, the wreckage will be removed, but we cant walk all the way to the divide :turtle: Maybe (like in "the pitt") there will be some kind of weichle? I dunno, what do u think? :disco:

I agree, it looks like one of the buses grows a door that we can go through.

Of course there will be a radio signal, and blablabla, but we can't just go over to canyon wreckage and press "enter the divide" :batman:

Yeah, i guess you'r right :confused: But i think it's kinda chezzy that you just can walk all the way to the divide (and zion).

I think once we pass the canyon wreckage there will be a set of security doors underground or something (it's in the early part of the trailer) where we somehow prove who we are. After all there needs to be an explanation why no one else have tried go through this way as well.

I think you're confused because you, and many other people, are under the impression that we HAVE to be forced to go to the Divide because going willingly implies a motive, and implying a motive for a character is a no-no.

The Courier however, is not a blank slate, and it seems he wants to settle things aswell. At least that's what I gather, and that's how it will be if Ulysses simply sends you a radio message.

Maybe It will open up the rest of the map behind the Mojave outpost, so the Divide will just be part of the main map.

It will be the mojave outpost. The gate says (Key Required) same thing as ABOSB for DM

The Mojave outpost is how the NCR got to Vegas in the first place. What makes you think they'd travel down a road full of hurricanes, mutants, and other horrors?

The Mojave outpost is how the NCR got to Vegas in the first place. What makes you think they'd travel down a road full of hurricanes, mutants, and other horrors?

Are you sure the wreckage will be removed? It was still there in the trailer, with no doorway opened up in it.

Maybe the bus door will be open or something and i'm thinking there will be a very small open area (similiar to how you have to go through the tunnel in honest hearts) and you must walk a very small distance and you will find a rock wall with a large blast door on it with a stars and stripes emblem on it and once you enter this, there is an underground tunnel that is dead quiet and has a lot of graffitti and at the end of the tunnel there is a door that takes you to the divide...... just my theory :celebration:

If you notice at the beginning of the video the bus is oriented a little differently, making it easier to reach the doors. That looks like the first step towards the Divide, but we will know for sure on Tuesday. :celebration:
