How are the Aldmeri domininon so powerful?

Post » Tue Aug 13, 2013 4:36 pm

Aldmeri Dominion is Summerset Isles, Valenwood, and Elswyer.

Empire is Cyrodil, Skyrim, High Rock, and Hammerfell. They no longer had Morrowind or Black Marsh....and they abandoned Hammerfell.

We don't know that to be true, that is just a rumor from the perspective of Empire supporters (or anti-Dominionists)

And to be specific, the Psijic Order doesn't let the Thalmor control because of powa.

Thalmor aren't slouches though. But the Psijiic Order may be a deciding factor in the Thalmor's demise indeed.

It's pretty clear. They lost a lot of their military engagements, but they're winning the campaign. The Void Nights was an illusion, judging from MK's comment that it was an "experiment in eugenics." They came to power by exploiting a crisis. They've made mistakes and I expect to see them collapsing from within, but they're pretty astute at political manipulation and subterfuge.

The white gold tower NEVER collapsed. How could it have collapsed when Lord Naarifin was hung from it for thirty days?

They could have won with the help of the united Redguards and could have fought on as Hammerfell did. IMO Mede lost his nerve and signed the "treaty". The Dominion forces were also thinning, remember that too.

Wars unite people and from the looks of things Hammerfell is on the mend. There is no way the Altmer could even take a fractured Hammerfell due to the elite security forces guarding the cities hugging the edges of the Alik'r. They wouldn't be able to lay siege upon 4 heavily guarded coastal cities and so they'd be forced to travel across the Alik'r to take Hammerfell's cities. Last I checked that didn't go too well for them...

Also, an Altmer would stick out like a sore thumb in Hammerfell. I'd notice a seven foot lanky pale figure in the midst of six foot dark muscular people.

The Thalmor and Aldemeri Domion are minions of Hermaeus Mora!

As the TRUE Champion of Hermaeus Mora, they are mine! Mine I say!

So, what is this Wild Hunt?

Plain untrue. Well, there's the tower, then there's the tower. Trust me, it makes sense. Kinda.

The thought of that kinda makes me sleepy. A place called the summerset isle (once upon the time) filled with high elves and all their fancy prissy dandiness makes me mash the meh button. Somewhere harsh with bits of beauty here and there however like Hammerfell seems like a much better place to adventure imo, not to mention they have some pretty interesting cultural stuff, like the weird snake worshipers who apparently shed their skin (although I'd bet my last mead Beth wouldn't include that knowing them.)

Didn't the Dominion send the vast majority of their forces against the Imperial City to make the Imperials think they had a far larger army then they actually had?

You know, like when our ancestors got goosbumps and the hair stuck up and scared sabre cats away. ;P
