Probably just going to walk to a store and buy it that day. I don't expect all stores to be out of them, so no need to pre-order. Unless They do some of that dumb pre-order DLC....

This.

But even pre-order DLC probably wouldn't change it.... I didn't bother with the New Vegas pre-order bonus, either. (Of course, it turned out not to matter - the FO:NV box I pulled off the shelf at Best Buy had the DLC code in it.)

Waiting for the collectors edition

Going release day to pick it up in store, like I did with Fallout 3 and New Vegas.

I preordered at game stop last week. I can wait 'till morning' though. Going to midnight launch would be ridiculous.

Still undecided. It'll either be on PC or Xbox, though I'll definitely be preordering it online.

I think I'll wait and see if it's worth getting the collectors edition, then perhaps pre-order it. I'd quite like to go to a midnight launch but it might not be possible. I'll probably just end up going to buy it on the day, or pre-ordering it in my local game store when that's possible.
There's a few other games I want out that month too so my funds might be too tight for a collectors edition.

Being a collector, waiting for the CE is the wise thing to do.

Waiting for more info on the game in general and the announcement of a collector's edition before I make that decision.

The preorder bonus is a cloth map, and it isn't dumb, it's definitely the best preorder bonus ever!

I will see How the Marriage and Relationship and Friendship work in the Game and How we are going to have Children with our Spouse, then i will Buy the GOTY Game if there are Mods to get Rid of Gay Stuff With Other NPC's and Relationships and Marriage.

I Really am looking Forward to SKYRIM Not The Sims or Family Guy

It's not bad, but with the paper map in the box, it's a bit redundant.
(there is a paper map in the box, right? :))

Hmm, trying to think of "best pre-order bonuses" that I've gotten, but most of them are just silly, honestly. Like my Chrono Cross desk clock, or the Parasite Eve 2 zipper pulls. Or posters (Parasite Eve, Star Ocean, etc). Got a calendar once, that wasn't bad. And the soundtrack CDs that Square was giving one summer for pre-orders were quite good. But that was back in the 80's and 90's.... there were alot more physical pre-order bonuses back then.

I'm hoping not to buy it. If my children don't take the heavy hints (a subtle campaign that began months ago) and get it me for Xmas I'll probably buy it in the New Year.

I'm waiting for a Collector's Edition to be announced, but if it isn't within the next 2-3 months, then I'm going to pre-order. If by some horrible mishap that I don't have enough money, then I'm going to save like crazy and buy it at midnight release.

Edit:
@daventry
Then just don't get married! It is just expanding features for those who want those type of interactions. It's like choosing between an axe or a bow & arrow, just choose whichever suits you.
