How are you going to cope

Post » Thu Sep 29, 2011 6:17 am

So i just know that if unchecked this game is going to take up every spare second i have in the three-4 mounths after the game comes out. my school work with suffer and everything, so this is my plan to cope it worked pretty good with new vegas and other games ive tried it on. im trying something a little different so that the game WONT do this to me.

strait from the midnight to my dorm to get this thing going on my pc. play it till i cant stay awake, go to sleep (make sure not working next day , no classes becaues of holiday) and play nonstop all day long, next day , repeat, next day repeat. im think if i can get around 20-25 hours in in 2-3 days thing ill "burn out" per se, not really burn out but it wont be the ONLY thing going through my head, and ill have more self control when it comes to schoolwork and stuff the next week.

I've taken the 11th thru the 14th off, just in case I had been scheduled to work that Saturday. That time will be easy, all I'll have to do is pass my child off to my folks, or have her stay at a friend's place for a sleepover. In either case, she'll be glad to be staying somewhere else. LOL. After that, things may get complicated.

The main thing for me will be lack of sleep. When I first got Oblivion, I would spend way too much time playing, to the point that it would be midnight, and I gotta be up at 6:30 usually, on weekdays. :verymad: Skyrim will probably be a repeat of this.

I'm just going to quit work and college, cut all social ties, and withdraw my savings so I can survive for a few months like this to play skyrim non stop.....

Realistically I'm going to be playing every spare moment I have after college and work, so most likely I'll be only getting around 4 hours of sleep a night instead of my traditional 6.

I work 2 jobs and have a big house to keep clean....THAT's not getting done! LOL I have to keep telling myself, "There's no rush to finish the game. Take your time. it's not going anywhere. Get your things done" Yeah, right! I'll be spending every free moment on it!

I love TES, but I'm not going to spend all my free time on it. I have a life to maintain. Whenever I have everything sorted out and I have some spare time, I'll relax and go to my other world.

If I have everything squared away before I sit down and immerse myself, I have no interruptions.

I think releasing it on a Friday was a fantastic idea by Beth. It'll give most people a free few days to satiate their craving and hopefully they'll be ok to return to work/school that monday. Good job Beth! :D

I've play 5 seconds every day so that Skyrim last as long as possible.

(who am I kidding here? :D)

After release, i'll play it 3-6 hours each day. School is secondary.
