How are you going to play this game?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 2:27 pm

I'm wondering if you prefer to start out and explore the map. Or if you prefer to go straight for the main story and see the world as you move along with the story. Or maybe you prefer to do the side quests first and leave the story until you've leveled up and can handle yourself in any situation. So how will you play fallout 4?

Straight for the main story and see the world as I move along with the story... later complete [finish] the game, and then move on to some other game.

*Needlessly drawn out or virtually endless titles are a peeve with me.

I would just go ahead and use the settlement system. And continue the story, and explore the world.

I tend to mix doing the main quest and doing side quests, often the compass and those unexplored locations markers on it tend to make me walk off course.

Might try to follow the main quest line for a while, might just take off walking in a random direction. Depends what I feel like doing on release day.

Follow the main story until I see some shiny item or place or quest to distract me of course.

Get the power armor (frame?) And that laser musket first, find a place to set up shop to store junk and what not (or make one if I need to) slowly build up supplies, explore, do some sides quest/main quest, and try to find that smexy enclave armor.

My first priority will have to be securing storage space for the eventual piles of loot I will be collecting. :P So I will most likely be exploring the settlement building first and then investigate whatever areas are close to the starting area, then probably pursue the main quest for a bit.

Sitting down. Preferably with my feet propped up. Maybe something cold on the computer desk to drink.

without protection and rough ,oh wait not what you meant XD.In all seriousness it'll depend on how the game controls work ,what features there are so on and so forth (no point picking a style when all I can say for certain is that it's way better looking than fallout 3)

Run in the opposite direction of wherever the main story wants me to go. Just to see what happens and who or what will I stumble upon. After getting my butt kicked a few times, I'll start the main story and build up some weapons and stats for revenge kills later.

I generally stay close to the main story on the first play through but will cover some of the side quests in hub areas. After the main quest I will explore and do as many side quests as I can find.

same way i typically play every beth game. Wait until i'm sure most of the good mods are made. I still have barely played skyrims main quest, just a little after going to the mountain and getting dragons, even though i bought it the first month it was out.

currently i'm working fallout 3 stuff, still haven't played that fully either. Only New Vegas, morrowind, and oblivion, have i fully completed everything in the games

Long and slow, doing a bit of both. My first play through of F:NV was about 130 hours.

Like any other TES game: I'll run around, look for loot and things to murder or steal while turning myself into godlike slaughtermachine and laughing at the terrible dialogue lines.

I'm going to explore every single rock, box, etc. xD For me things like fast travel, sprinting don't exist in Fallouts xD

Find the nearest raider den and ask them if I can join up.

Lol, nah just explore that starting area and get used to the game, then do the main quest up to the first big city/town/settlement/whatever, then leave the main quest and explore, pick up, sell, craft, kill, taunt, sidequest everything in the area. When I think I've seen as much as I can there, move on to the next main quest part and repeat.

Slowly... searching every inch of the game world, looting as much as I can carry in every area, transferring the items back to my settlement to be converted into hi-tech instruments of slaughter that will be used either to kill my enemies or to be sold via my caravans and traders.

Yeah, this is how it usually goes for me in Beth games. Follow the main quest.... oooh, what's that cave over there? Try to get back to MQ.... ooh, a sidequest! Try to get back to MQ.... oooh, another ruin!

Depends on the imitativeness of the main quest. In F3 I figured I would explore my new found freedom from Vault life before looking for my father who I have lived next to in close quarters for 18 years. I figured dad knew what he was doing and beside he got me into this mess so I am not just going to find right now. In F:NV, I really wanted to shot Chandler in the head. So I be lined it to find him and after taking care of him, did some exploring and figuring out who I wanted to help while interacting with the citizens of the area.

Slap my [censored] on my controller from excitement for a while, then finally run into the wasteland swinging said [censored] in the air like a madman.

I'm kidding of course but I am excited for this game so bad. I'm just going to see where I happen to stumble on first and browse around for a little while before I face the wasteland for real.
