I wasn't a member of the forums back then, but I remember the thread. Don't have a link, sorry. I kept my beard until the end of the summer, when I came back from Zimbabwe. It didn't take me long to realize the misconception of being a blonde Jesus that made me more than a man in the bush did not apply to the States.

its been a struggle. not the growing part, but dealing with all the hot girls saying "you'd look so cute without it!" but its worth it.

They're full of crap. Beards, good, clean beards, are hot -- 'nuff said.

It's going pretty good. But I gotta shave mine every two or three months, or else it stops being a beard and becomes more of my hair growing down the side of my face.

It is allowed to trim a beard.

it was felled by a razor blade, anyways i do deep the Gorge Jones sideburns going with a goatee...Any ways i have too much Indian in me to grow a real beard D:

My face has not known the touch of a razor, or a trimmer for that matter, going on a good 2 months or so. My beard flows free like mead from the stein.

I keep starting one, but 3 days in it looks too much like scruff to keep me from shaving. If only I had a solid week off so I wouldn't be concerned about looking shabby at work.

Its currently a mIx between gandalf and Jesus. The wife has been standing in the doorway with an electric shaver though, so I'm a little afraid.
