So how bad is it really?

Sooo no ranting and raving or anything. Just curious as to how many people and how badly they are affected by the poor host selection, migration and just general connectivity problems. I know, there are other threads with polls... however none of them were created with any decent voting options and most were just flame bait.

Just looking for honest answers.

What he said. Laggy for some games, great for others. Honestly just a crap-shoot for right now. Cross your fingers and hope for a decent game.

I always have a half-ass'd connection so I'm not bothered that much. I can tell when I am lagging more than usual though, like shooting someone 20 times then having them turn around and maul me down. Killcam shows me only hitting them 3 times even with my sight on them the entire time.

Let me put it this way:

On a decent connection, meaning when the matchmaking system picks a reasonable host, I have fun.

All the other games are like playing cards with a 7 year old and you allow him to make the rules. I have no idea what I need to do to win because the game seems to change every time.

To be quite honest, my experience has gotten worse since the "hot fix". And no, it's not because my guns have been nerfed... In fact, I've been trying to keep myself entertained by using only pistols/C4 for the last 2 nights. I just seem to be getting dikeed on hosts recently...

Pretty damn bad, but not entirely unplayable. Especially when you are lucky enough to be host.

Barely a 3, the connections are trash, just the networking for picking the host is worse than that of Dino Crisis 2 for the Playstation 2. If the networking was fixed so the actual GOOD connection was picked it would be a 4.2358484 :)
