How big is Interplay right now?

Okay, this is a trivial question but, how big is gamesas right now? How big are the offices? Could someone connected with gamesas post some photos? :geek: I had a permanent constipated grimace on my face, I was revenge personified

Few months ago when the page was "under construction" there was a link in the upper right corner - leading to some PDFs to download (for the potential investors). I actually tried to read that lawyerish !@#!%$%!@#! language and from what I remember there were some information about "a MMO game being in early stages of development" - but at the same time it stated that only 4 programmers were on board. It probably was before Jason joined, and since march 2008 they had plans to hire few additional guys. Now that Chris joined I'd guess that 8 - 15 guys work in gamesas right now, but it is only a wild estimation Image

I think Chris posted something saying they were in early pre-production.

What this means is that a small team, maybe only half a dozen programmers, are making a basic mock-up of what a part of the game will be like. This will then be shown to either the executives of gamesas, investors or publishers to ensure they are happy with it and see it as a viable game and one which will earn the company money.

Only once they have passed through pre-production and gone into the early stages of production/development will they need to ramp up the number of programmers, artists, dev managers, audio etc. Right now the team will be small with a handful of programmers, a few designers and a few concept artists

If I were to speculate, I'd say that the number (discounting lawyers and accountants, who might be outsourced) would be less than 12. That number seems to coincide with the startup companies I've worked with. An original gamesas fan, also known as Sol Invictus and Exitium. Currently running Hellforge, an original Diablo III community.

Well that's not bad at all but I think enough ;) The number of members isn't as important as their knowdlege and exprience in making games. For good example look at IdSoftware, they always have about ~16 stable guys and make best fps in the world ;) the best movie in the world ;P http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=6BV4slil-HQ
