Skyrim, Oblivion and Morrowind have big maps, but obviously they're much smaller than they would be if they were real places. For example, I can travel from Riften to Solitude and back to Riften again many times in less than a day (a real day, that is). Plus, it doesn't take very long to travel up the tallest mountain in Skyrim. So, how big do you think Tamriel is lore-wise? I'd say it's about the size of Asia, maybe a little smaller.

I would guess it would be the size of Europe Without Russia.

I've always believed it to be slightly smaller than Eurasia.

From what I understand Tamriel's supposed to be roughly the size of Europe.
