How can I go back to the previous version with fewer bugs? T

Just prior to the patch a couple of days ago, Fallout New Vegas seemed to run PERFECTLY for me. All scripts. 1920 x 1200 resolution. All saves. Everything. Now there seems to be bugs everytime I try to do something.

Such as ....

Vault 3 - The inhabitants of Vault 3 are suppost to greet you at the door and challenge you with Speech or a Great Kahn disguise. That they did before the patch. Now they are all instantly hostile on entering and I can't even do a Speech challenge let alone have them see my Great Kahn jacket. Thus now I can't make the delivery to Motor-Runner.

VATS does not work correctly now. - Before the patch, all buttons worked perfectly. Now I can't get anything to work right, I have to click the LEFT mouse button to exit VATS. It's supposed to be the RIGHT mouse button. That's just one of the problems with VATS now.

I want to go back to the version of the game before this so called "patch" which was downloaded. That's the way it's supposed to be on a PC. There was no warning for me to backup the game in case I did not like the way the update played. That's the way it always has been. What is this FORCED update crap? That's for unknowledgeable players on the game machines perhaps who can't figure out how to back up something or install something. Not for experienced gamers who can independantly think about which version works right for them and what to add or not add. That's why we run the PC version.

I vote NO for automatic updates without the capability to revert to the prior version if something is wrong with the update. A game is no fun when an update breaks it.

UPDATE

Sure enough ... there is a bug in Vault 3. See my thread on Vault 3. Why would they think I'm NCR.
