How can people play Skyrim on PC WITHOUT Mods? + P

It's just stupid. You can have better gameplay, immersion, graphics, combat,NPC Interaction,UI,music, loading times,performance.ANYTHING.And yet a friend still refuses to install mods for Skyrim because he thought it "took away from the feel of the original game".How can SkyUI,The Unofficial Patches,Skyrim HD 2k Textures and Immersive Armors take away from the feel of the game.I mean, it just doesn't make any sense.

It's simple: the base game is just fine for me so far. I see no reason to really modify things yet. I'm still having fun, no need to add stuff.

Some people are absolute purists. ASo anything other than official content/assets is a no go for them. Something like Skyrim HD (or any other texture mod) actually can alter the visual style of the game a bit (mostly rocks IMO).

Unofficial patches don't go against the feel of the original game at all, just fix a lot of broken stuff and remove some exploits. But, yeah, mods really do a ton for this game. One of the (if not the) best games I've ever played on the whole without them. WIth mods, well, +700 hours in Steam speaks for itself.
