how can I stop wrye bash from Ghosting my unactive mods?
[even when I remove the "mopy" folder!!]
so here I am getting ready to play. I have TROPICAL SKYRIM installed so I do not want to use the hires texture packs with their esps nor do I now want to use dawnguard.
wrye "helpfully" ghosts these mods.
No matter what I tell it to do!
I read the article and ghosting and even with individual clickings on each of these mods, they still ghost.
[i even once had three copies of *each* of the 1.2 gig bsa files for the hires texture packs!]
i removed the mopy folder from my skyrim and these files *still* ghost!
not a big deal? why yes it is: steam "wants" to check to make sure these files are there and often it redownloads them if i remove the files altogether.
[i wish there was a way to "unsubscribe" the high res and the dawnguard DLCs, there seems to be no way to!]
I even checked the file structute of a wrye bash install and i do not think it has any hidden folders on my C drive. so why are these DLCs still being ghosted?
then i have detected that wrye will make some of my unactive mods active, behind my back!
does tes mod manager also ghost?
what will ghost an unactive mod even with the mopy folder not being in the skyrim folder?!
almost looks as if i HAVE to have the full dawnguard and the hires texture DLCs installed! but this will not work with the tropical skyrim mod.
what am I missing?
what am i doing wrong?
thank you....freestone
