How to change plugin master requirements for an .esp?

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 5:26 pm

I'm having a bit of a problem with Realistic Interior Lighting (specifically, the Paradox Ignition version that consolidates the .esps for that mod into one) and Fallout Remastered.
The compatibility patch for Fallout Remastered and Realistic Interior Lighting requires all the .esps for RIL i.e. not merged into one, and thus crashes the game on startup due to them not being present.

Specifically, the masters list for Fallout Remastered - RIL.esp looks like this:

Fallout3.esm
BrokenSteel.esm
PointLookout.esm
Realistic Interior Lighting.esp
Realistic Interior Lighting - BS.esp
Realistic Interior Lighting - PL.esp

But with the Paradox Ignition version, the RIL plugins are all one called Realistic Interior Lighting.esp. How would I go about removing the last 2 plugins from the master list?

While i've got your attention, I would like to know if Fellout can be run concurrently with Enhanced Weather and Xepha's Dynamic Weather. I know the last 2 are compatible (indeed, XDW relies on parts of EW), but can Fellout be run with them, or will it cause a crash (and do either EW or XDW already include Fellout's changes?)

I do apologise if these seem like rather obvious questions, but it has been quite a while since I last played FO3, or any game where I often had such a mammoth list of mods installed at the same time.

EDIT: Oh, one other thing: Does anyone have a working link to that Stormfront Studios Presents mod? Turns out I need it's .esm for the T3T-Weapon Tweaks mod, but it seems to have disappeared off of the face of the Internet entirely, including the author's personal site.

The obvious answer is to contact the mod author and get advice from him/her. Or uninstall the paradox ignition version and install the version which will run with Fallout Remastered.

I'm trying to keep the amount of .esps to the absolute minimum possible lest strange and unwanted things happen.

Worked like a charm, thanks for pointing out that program.
