How Civil Unrest Would Divide the U.S.

Though not exactly Fallout Related I found this article to be very interesting when you think of how states might act once there was no central government left in the U.S. Though the lore behind Fallout creates this unrest through a war with China, Fallout does a pretty admirable job simulating an arms race among regions of the country. Just looking at the maps, the simulation of Fallout seems pretty believable (minus the historical shift of technology...that's just fun :fallout:) Its a long article but for those of us who really enjoy the build up that got us to Fallout 1,2, Tactics and NV, its really not a bad read. Though I wonder, it is just me who sees a parallel to the vision of Black Isle/Obsidien/Bethesda or am I reading something into nothing?
