My PC enters the inn at Kynesgrove and some loud-mouth Nord says 'blah, blah, blah milk drinker'. Milk drinker!? My PC is the Guildmaster of the Thieves, not to mention Nightingale, so don't talk to her like that.
Long story short, I followed the dialog until he attaked (which surprised me, I was expecting a brawl). He got in the first hit, everyone screams and says do something so my PC hits him with Ash Shell and he's down like a statue. She then puts a poison rune under him, casts one of the flesh spells on herself, unsheathes her daggers, and steps back. So far, so good.
The shell wears off, he starts to move and detonates the rune (which doesn't hit anyone else as far as I can tell) and comes after my PC. I can't even remember if my PC got in a single attack, but everyone goes ape as soon as she starts to fight. She used Calm to handle the Nord, sheathed her weapons and everyone calms down.
I check the game stats and there's a bounty! For what? I thought you are allowed to defend yourself without risk of a bounty when the other party initiates combat. Guess not.. thoughts please?
Thanks
