How come no one is every the khajiit or a argonian?

My favourites are the argonians and the khajiit's. :)
I'm a cat and I'll probably marry a lizard if I find a cute one. Haha!

I got a khajit as my first char. Wanted a sneaky assasin that used both magic and swords. Turned out that magic and stealth dont work together (you dont get fancy damage multipliers). The 15 claw damage was nice, especially at lower lvl's where it simply outperforms anny weapon you can find. But it means your not lvling a weapon skill. Also the synergy would be nice with the heavy armor perk where a gloves armor rating is added as damage. But that doesnt fit a thief/assasin play style :\ Looking back, i wish i did go for an armored rogue style xD

Also knowing the game better now, i probably should have gone with a breton. That 25% magic resist is just so powerfull and starting skill lvl is pretty much irrelevant. (i would almost say get as low as possible to lvl abit faster and get more perks faster).

I don't play them because I'm racist. They will always be lower class scum to me. Slavery is too good for them I'm say!

(This has nothing to do with the fact I play a Dunmer :whistling: )

I have a habit of making attractive characters, so that rules out stuff like cat or lizard people

Although, I know people who love playing Argonians (Kahjit... not so much)

Ha..I LOL'd on this one. Someone else mentioned "sixy" characters as well. Have you even seen the character creation screen? LOL. There are NO sixy/attractive options. LOL

i find both of those races rather rare in the world of skyrim, it makes me feel special for playing as one of them considering nobody in the world really sees them.

well i dunno about you guys, but i barely see these races in the game.

Your numbers are wrong, there are many enough players who prefer the beast races. My first two characters are Argonians, and the third will be a Khajiit.

Right now I'm a nord that does everything but next time I'll be a dark elf that uses one handed weapons and light armor etc.

I chose Khaajit because the starting stats most suited my intended play style. However I do regret it, such an alien creature it's hard to... get it it's skin, so to speak.

I wish I had gone for Dunmer. On my next style I want to be a pure warrior - I know Orc would best suit my style on initial stats, however I think I would regret that as well, and so I'll probably end up going for Nord or Redguard.

My first character, Rajani, was a Khajiit spellsword. And all my favourite characters from previous ES games were Khajiit.

I love them to bits <3

I think they're the most interesting race - except perhaps for the Dunmer, and I'd love to see an ES game set in Elsweyr.

This title is one of the worst assassinations of grammar I've ever seen.

I'm a Khajiit. I've always loved them, and contrary to some people's belief, I think the Skyrim Khajiit are the best looking Khajiit. Also, statwise, Khajiit are perfect for being stealthy/rogue characters. The Night-Eye ability further helps this.

Well I've made a couple of characters with both of them that I liked.

I can see why people like them and I like them in the game, but for me its just a little to hard to take a lizard or a kitty man seriously.

My first character in Skyrim was an Argonian.

Then I rolled Altmers, Bretons, Imperials, Nords, but no dice.

Maybe I'll do a Khajiit this time.

I wanted to play a Khajiit Rogue, but Bethesda gave them human feet and that detroyed everything for me! In Morrowind they had cat feet and couldn't wear any boots, thats probably not a good design decision in a modern game, but they should have done it like Blizzard with the Worgen (just boots around the ankle region and bare paw-feet)!

Hi Justin. Can you tell me please where did you get the idea that no one is "every" khajiit or argonian? Do you have an official list from bethesda? Can we see that? Thank you.

You sir, are an a hole.

Skyrim is the first Bethesda title I've played a Khajiit in. Every other game of theirs I've played I've been an argonian.

My very first character was a khajiit thief, and i enjoy it a lot, even if as my very first character he is not efficient at all (too many non-combat related skill up, too many lvls that made fight exremelly difficult).

Only drawbacks is that there is no more hand to hand skill (and hand to hand attack do not raise any weapon skill), making there special claw ability mostly useless after the firts few lvls....... especially since as it does not count as a one handed weapon claws don't activate backstab perks (or i have miss something here  ) of the sneak skill tree.

Still i will try to play a khajiit thief/assassin that relies only on its claw to kill, just that spending skill and perks in heavy armour to raise damage sound not good at all for this kind of character...... just hope you can enchant items to raise hand to hand damage output.

Never played a beast race before, until now and I have to say it's te character I'm enjoying the most by far, he's a kahjiit stealthy theif/assassin, I'm not going anywhere near the main quest though because a kahjiit dragonborn is just ridiculous.
I also have a warrior for the main quest, and a dunmer spellsword for the magicky type quests. But as I said kahjiit by far my favourite character and he looks bad ass!

Well, considering my Khajiit Brawler's claws make his fists do more damage than Daedric Warhammers, yeah...they're pretty cool. That's without enchantments too.

I mean damn, he's level 10 right now and doing 32 damage with the crappiest heavy armor gauntlets I could find.

And fists have the BEST killcams. One is a "hulk smash" where you pick up the bandit by the neck, punch him in the face, and then smash him into the ground. This battlecat juggernaut is more fierce than a werewolf.

I [censored] love playing as an Argonian, every Elder Scrolls game I'm always that lizardy bastard; man I hope the next TES game is in Black Marsh.

As for the most popular character to play as in Skyrim it would have to be Nord, the most popular character in any Elder Scrolls game will always be the native of that province.

eg. Dunmer in Morrowind, Imperial in Oblivion and so on.

I'm currently playing a Khajjit Assassin. The racials are amazing for that. The skill bonuses look like their built for an assassin.

The racials are also amazing for the Thieves Guild and Brotherhood quest lines. When you have to brawl with someone having those claws is amazing.

I know what you mean. I'm playing a Khajiit thief atm and I don't feel connected at all to the whole dragonborn plot compared to the Nord battlemage I played before.
Why would some thief go around shouting these words, anyway? I prefer sneaking around enemies discreetly.

Not all shouts are loud.. some can be the smallest of whispers to divert your enemies attentions in another area as you sneak past.. yup I can see some advantages of using shouts as a thief :celebration:
