How do we communicate to the moderators now?

New warning on the "report" button says not to use it to communicate to the moderators. How do we go about asking them now to do things like change a title of a thread? And why will they not let us edit the title of our thread ourselves?

What are you talking about? You do use the report button to communicate to us - for any reason, it's fine.

Edit: Huh... I see what you mean. I never knew that was there. Ignore it for now, I will report it to the admin. :)

Anyway, I will close this - just use the report button or PM me or another mod if you need something. :)

I think it is because we (moderators) can no longer reply to a report via pm with this new forum software. When we get a report now it says in our pm box, "unable to reply". Therefore if we need to have a conversation with the person to report something we must move to PM them. It's so we can reply to one another in the report and it won't go out to the members. So if you hit "report" and record something we get it as a report but can not reply to members. But all other conversations with mods must take place via the regular pm system.

It's different but it is an awesome way for moderators to discuss reports and how to respond. We like to be in agreement so we don't make bad decisions.
