getting back on topic, this is a few things that would of made it more real...
:snoring:
1 a lot more activity from the various factions, its not very realistic that none of them go anywhere or patrol.
8 the factions actually engaging each other on the map randomely, it would add some realism.
Same thing? And they do engage each other. I've seen NCR and Ceasers battling it out numerous times when patrols meet.
2 not the same gecko running across the road near primm or the same two bark scorpions in hidden valley or nipton.
10 random enemy spawns, its not very realistic with the exact same enemies spawn in the exact same locations every single time.
Same thing?
3 some higher tech factions, notice only the fiends have high tech weapons, ncr and ceasers legion poorly armed.
Explained in game. Fiends ripped off a weapons caravan. Not to mention the energy weapons they have are pretty poor. NCR is poorly supplied and the Legion refuses to use any high tech stuff.
4 random events and enouncters, can you believe there isn't one random encounter/event.
Not something i miss to be honest.
5 significantly more settlements and other buildings on the map, there's not really many, where is this rebuilding and recivilization ?
As has been pointed out, there's more settlements than in Fallout 3 and they make more sense than in Fallout 3 too. There's farms, two working power plants, factories, and beauacracy etc.
6 a lot better terrain and environment, you're out in the open wherever you are, no good hiding spots anywhere really.
It's a desert. What are you expecting? A little forest? Some waist high grass?
7 not so many tents and one room shacks on the map, they did that to save time obviously.
Yes, the people of the mojave did it to save time. After all, it's quicker to put up a tent than manufacture building materials and construct a brick or concrete building.
9 much better well armed enemies especially as the you level up.
You mean like Oblivion where bandits where running around in Daedric armour?
BTW, excellent job on avoiding responding to anyones counter arguements.
