How-to deal with powerful squads?

Post » Tue May 14, 2013 3:43 am

Probably one of the most frustrating situations in this game is when a group of good players squad up and destroy the opposing team, made mostly of randoms playing on their own. Any advice about how to proceed to make the match less frustrating? I NEVER rage quit.

i agree with ya cos grade school tea ball vs new york yankees = no fun

i blame squad, no common sense? or hardcoe cheating nerds worried about ktr etc?

anyway imo solutions:
1. take a break (or join another server etc)
2. ask em to stop teaming up since its unfair n not fun for everyone (or abuse em, call em geeks, chicken, loser nerds etc)
3. use ur best weapon/module set (with low profile if u r good enough to face em)
4. play dirty like em (camp with c4, pole with heavy weapon pro etc ';..;')
5. maybe crytek can auto change team on new patch? (swap no1 player from squad with no8 player from random team etc)
6. get really good at c3 mp n have heaps of friends (4+ ktr with many friends probably never have to worry about other team)

^yeah, all of that's good.

In general, if there's a big squad of good people, there's two options:

1) ask them to split their squad in two to make it even. If they're decent people, they'll do this, or purposefully not try hard, or whatever. problem solved.

2) they may be assholes. However, I've found that squads of assholes behave as they do because they're very concerned about hi KD, they don't want a challenge, etc. Essentially, they're lazy.

So, if you put your tryhard hat on, you can usually damper their KD to the point where they get frustrated and leave.

if neither of those work you can grin and bear it or switch servers, depending on your inclination.
a lot of the people around the top of the KD leaderboards are like this. You lower their kd to below 3, and they rage quit.

I actually never squad invite. People just join on me. If it gets too lopsided, I'll just leave the squad.

lol just camp with the c4, jaws against em if they team up n play unfair :D
luckily having low kdr(~1.9) doesnt bother me since i play c3 for fun n i dont care about other ppl in my friend list with 4.5+ kdr cos its not like im competing against em.

same, i only joined squad for a day or two just for dog tags. i dont mind playing in squad with ppl i know if the teams are even, but i perfer to fight against good players rather than teaming up with em cos i think i learn/improve much faster that way (n more fun too, no bs oo)

I don't think so :P

But trolling with poles and C4 looks like fun. Maybe I should create a "maximum troll" class :)

Sadly there are only 5 custom classes, I need more! I think I'd actually pay for a DLC allowing 2-3 more custom classes...

The problem is when you are against squads filled with scar + laser + bow + c4 + pole users. Theres a few squads that just roll with every broken mechanic possible XD.
