I feel like I'm missing something obvious as I haven't found an answer to this yet online but I just cannot figure it out.

Clear the property in the properties window, then either delete it from that window, or edit the script and delete the property's line.

Deleting properties from the properties window is impossible; if it is, then my CK is broken somehow...
