How did Crytek made the Nanosuit 2 Voice?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 5:30 am

As an audio programmer, I'm in-love with the N2 Voice, that I wanna make something like that. How did Crytek made it? I messaged Crysis 2 Executive Producer Sir Nathan Camarillo on Facebook the same thing, but he only replied:

Heh we use some audio processes and software to manipulate prophet's voice

By the sound of it, I didn't got much intel of it. Hehehe (peace to Sir Nathan Camarillo). Any idea(s) how did they made it and/or what app(s) used for it, fans?

Any intel would be a great help.

=) ^_^

FYI: Almost any better newer soundcard (soundblaster/xonar) has option to directly alter microphone input - but its limited to presets.

Well even if he tell you what they use it won't help since you don't have access to their software ;) It a fact that many sound cards have software which can change voice, like once while playing some mmo dude on Vent was talking like Vader lmao.

Crytek probably use their own algorithm so unless they release tools which they use you won't get this voice. But ofc. you can try find in google voice modulators which can give you something similar to Nanosuite voice.
