How did you deal with Alice and the Van Graffs?

Just out of curiosity. I personally eliminated them both to obtain the preferable Cass perk and give her a damage boost. Also killing Alice and Gloria seemed like sweet wasteland retribution for their crimes.

Neither. I side with House so there's always the assumption that he consolidates them.

Usually go the peaceful route, but I think I will go and blow up the Van Graffs and kill Alice for the BoS head paladin.

Peacefully, I chose to allow Cass to take her revenge legally - apart from my stealing the evidence. Besides the Crimson Caravan are associated with the NCR and the NCR are enemies of the Van Graffs - best to have the NCR sort it out.

I've never let them walk away and face "justice".

Spoiler
Do every quest Alice gives you, steal the gun runner blue-prints, report them to Ranger Jackson. If you did that the ending slide will say that Alice and the Van Graffs were attacked as they were leaving the Mojave and it's heavily implied the gun runners did it and nothing bad happens to the gun runners since the case gets ignored iirc.

yeah but you don't get the damage perk for Cass. Plus, there's no difference in this case to kill them yourself.

But how would you decide if you had no idea how the issue would turn out?

Better then what some people are calling "Wasteland justice"

Murder isn't always the right option and "wasteland justice" is an excuse that laws should be decided by individuals who have no right to make said laws.

"Wasteland justice" is an excuse someone would make to solve a wrong, even if the wrong is a lie. "Wasteland justice" is not justice, it's deciding "What I say is right and thus I have the right to do what I want" and sure we have a case where the people are found guilty but the point remains, we aren't the law, we don't enforce justice, the Van Graffs and the Crimson Caravan are NCR they will get what's theirs when it happens and it's better to not make tensions worse by using such a barbaric concept as "wasteland justice."
