How did you get into Fallout 3

Post » Mon Aug 02, 2010 10:29 am

My big brother played FO1, which got me interested in the series. I first started playing the FO series myself though with FO2, when I bought it for myself. The good days of way-back when. When a 12 year old kid could go into a electronics store and buy a M rated game and the clerks wouldn't give you any issues about it.

I still remember downloading the demo for FO1 on a whim. When I played it I couldn't wait for the full version to come out.

A while ago I was complaining to a developer friend of mine that it was about time that someone/anyone needed to do something like Fallout, to which he replied "You are aware that Fallout 3 is in development aren't you?"

Upgraded my rig, and knowing Bethesda makes fun (if incredibly buggy) games, I picked it up. :twirl:

Baldur's Gate I -----> Baldur's Gate II -------> Morrowind ----> Oblivion -----> Fall Out 3

Yes it might have been I have seen Fall Out 1 and 2 on the shelves back in those days but most likely I wasn't intrested or didn't have any computer who could handle it, I did get intrested in roleplaying games when I started with tabletop roleplaying games somewhere around Baldur's Gate I and II .. .there have been vague memories of Roleplaying games I have been playing before way back ....
