How did you kill the deathclaws in quarry junction??
Was it funny or different??
How i killed the deathclaws in quarry junction was i used annabelle (i stood on one of the old machines, (it took more then one try but it was different and maybe funny)). :bonk:

If I'm ever faced with a super tough creature I can't beat, I simply find a rock to stand on where they can't reach me, and take potshots at them, practice my sniping. Boring, but it gets it done. When I can though, like I did with the last deathclaw in QJ I pretty much rand about like a lunatic, from cover to cover, getting the bugger stuck behind things and doing my damage then.

Either:
Sniper... Keep ED-E waiting at Sloan.. Boon as well... (spotter)...critical perks.... AM rifle, stay hidden and voila
Shotgun: Get all shotgun perks.. Riotshotgun.. turbo and boom ownage
Explosive: Lay minefields in combination with grenaderifles or machineguns..
Companion time: Ballistic fist with Veronica.. ED-E upgraded as support and a fast shooting gun/shotgun
Energy: All energy perks.. use companions..
Melee: Never tried

i either snipe them from a cliff near the great khan outpost or if im a high level i just go in with this machine or holorife and wipe em' out

Used to use the "Snipe them from a rock" method. But that got boring really quick. Now I bring a super power weapon like the holy frag grenades. On my last playthrough I used a plasma caster with the strongest MFC ammo I had and just unloaded on them.

I used a Mantis Gauntlet plus Better Criticals; Light Touch; Finesse; Slayer; Slasher; Yao Guai Meat; Weapon Binding Ritual; Brahmin Steak; Sierra Madre Security Armor; & Bleak Venom.

None of them could even touch me.

The first time I sniped them from an oil tank I jumped on near the rock path leading up to the Great Khan camp, where Melissa is...

This last time I took a missle launcher and aimed for their legs, making them slow. Then I aimed for their face.

However, this took a lot of patience and slow progression. I never took on more than two death claws at once.

there were these babies that I killed. 3 of them. If I could do it over I wouldn't have done it. But I didn't kill one of them. I keep having nightmares that he'll grow up and come looking for me....

First time I used a guass rifle on top of one of the machines after sneaking around the edge to get there. I havent tried since because I think it's a bit pointless...

I usually sneak up to the top of that tall mining machine, placing mines as I go up, then I just snipe at them using an AM Rifle with either explosive or Armor Piercing rounds.

At some point I tried setting up a massive trap by placing Fat Mines, Plasma Mines, C4 and other explosives in a huge line in the middle of the quarry, then I had the Deathclaws chase me across the line of explosives. Long story short, only three deathclaws were killed, and I was knocked down to about 30 hit points, which made it easy for the other deathclaws to kill me before I could even open my pipboy.

I took my trusty Grenade Rifle and Hunting Shotgun + And Stay Back!, and took them on in close quarters. Specifically, on the far ledge where they have only one route to get to you.

Oh, and Lily was there as well.

Well its always fun to kill them with bottlecap mines/satchel charges + brush guns. The mine will almost always cripple its legs and then its just easy prey to hand load ammo. I normally wait till after I have 75+ in explosives I make a few mines and then go deathclaw hunting in sloan

Robbed the energy weapons shop clean and blew them to hell, after turning the difficulty all the way down.
I also have no points in energy weapons, so even this was pretty difficult.

Most of my characters are snipers, so AM rifle works wonders.

If not a sniper character, then I usually just use a crap ton of mines.

No-scoped every 'claw with the AMR from a few feet away, and pulled a 360-sneak-dropshot on the Mother DC with Anabelle.

I wussed-out and sniped (AMR/Gauss) from the kahns' camp and then from the quarry entrance with ed-e and boone waiting at the camp for perks.

I like to think I was just being prepared/cautious after being being brutally slaughtered 3 times earlier by deathclaws.
