I was completely stunned and amazed. Watched the trailer about 10 times. Then made this account on the forums and popped Oblivion in my 360. :tes:

Yeah unfortunately I was pretty big on Gamefaqs forums (having just written a guide for AC: Brotherhood) so I spent a lot of time talking about Skyrim on that board. I had completely forgotten about my account on this board, and that this board existed at all. I came back and almost cried when I saw my user name was taken. Then I guessed at some passwords and I was back!

I heard it from my cousin around New Year and when i found out i jumped on my computer and watched the trailer. Then i started running in the walls for being so happy!

THEY WERE ALL RIGHHHHHHHHTTTTT!!! YES!YES!YES!YES!YES! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! FINALLLLLLYYYYYY!!!!" I actually missed what the trailer said because I was so excited, so I had to rewind. I was so satisfied to have known that TESV was Skyrim all along.

I literally passed out with an erection. It was a good day.

I can't really remember... all I know is that I somehow wound up on my roof with a $300 ticket from the cops for disturbing the peace...

I'd have to say that I was relieved, and somewhat annoyed that Skyrim is about dragons.

Funny thing. I've been regular on these forums since 2007. I've been playing TES for much longer (first played morrowind in 2003/04). Then FINALLY I got fed up with TES somewhere in late October and I stopped visiting forums. But like smoke addiction, TES addiction can't be overcome. You may stop smoking for a long time, but deep inside you KNOW that you want it.

I reinstalled Oblivion on 12.12.10. When I first came back to the forums the same day... I S**T BRICKS

Now I'm just saving up money for a new laptop.

I definitely ran around my apartment screaming and shouting the good news several times then ran around the entire building just straight hollering.

I actually saw the VGA after I saw the trailer.. Derp.

My wife was sitting there with me on the couch, and pretty much the only reason I'd tuned into the VGAs that night was because of the rumored Mass Effect 3 announcement/trailer.

When I saw the snowy mountains and chanting Nordic monks up there on the stage, I thought it was going to be the crappy Chris Hemsworth/Thor segment they'd just mentioned minutes earlier, right before the previous commercial break.

However, the moment they dropped Todd Howard's name, it all suddenly clicked into place. Seconds later, my wife was wondering where all the high-pitched little-girl squeals were coming from.

i was really just so happy that the game was announced, yet totally annoyed not seeing any footage, (during the VGA, and announcement trailer). but then again, that announcement trailer confirmed dragons and max von sydow
