How did you react to the announcment at the VGA's? : V

Personally, I just thought that it was another God of War or something, until Todd walked up. When I saw the trailer, I blasted the volume. I didn't even care or notice that it said Skyrim. So when it was done I asked my bud, "so where is it?". I also didn't notice the 11 11 11 thing. I heard November was the release date, and only entering December at the time, I still thought it was November, so I thought it was coming out in that month.

Well, I saw it on youtube so I already knew what it was for, but as I was watching them all come out in robes chanting all that stuff I couldn't help but call them dorks. It was right up my alley.

a friend spammed "oh god" to me on Steam and made me quit a pretty good session of TF2 to catch the last half of the debut trailer on a poor-quality VGA livestream.

it didn't dawn on me until like four hours later that "oh wow that's actually real".

I had kinda guessed it already... Someone had tweeted that a special guest developer had showed up with an announcement, and rumors of the announcement had been floating around the forums a couple weeks prior, but I wasn't quite sure. I basically crapped my pants when they said "Legendary game producer, Todd Howard". I'd been waiting eagerly for what ever was next after FO3, and I've been a long time TES fan. Todd, you and your team had been missed.

i actually missed it the first time it was on and they were recapping or something and i heard them say something something elder scrolls teaser and i was like wait what did they just say? and went on the website and seen the announced games and i was like no way and waited a couple hours till it re aired then i flipped out

I was staying at a friends house over the winter, and I showed him Oblivion the Night before saying, "dude this game is awesome. you have to play it." But then when I woke up he calmly turned his laptop in my direction and it started out as just "oh great what game is this? Another stupid anime game that he has tried to get me to play?" but it wasn't... it totally shocked me that I almost soiled my pants.... I seriously was coming to the conclusion that Bethesda had stopped making the Elder Scrolls Series.

well it wasn't beths Idea to put guys out there in robes, if they bowed their heads and allowed the shadows to cover their faces THEN it would have been sixy beyond all measure, but they all had stupid looks on their faces and I could tell Todd was like oh god, are you effing kidding me.

I was here watching the TES Series section explode. Or I was just after the announcement. I ran upstairs from the beginning of the show until just after the announcement. Then back here for the explosion. It was quite fun watching all the excitement.

aye twas a good day especially since up until the announcement i was having a bad day. i am not ashamed to admit i cried tears of joy. i would have shouted it was being announced from the rooftops. but they said it was set in skyrim. not the dark mysterious marshes of argonia. still made my month though :tes:
