How Does BRINK Compare To The Other Popular FPS's

It's not CoD which pleases me to no end. Finally a game that does something different and tries to break the mold.

Brink is amazing. It provides just enough challenge customization and above all little hidden paths to keep a stealth player like myself elbow deep in kills and xp.

You can't really compare Brink to other popular shooters. It's so unique, and that's what I love about it.

I can compare it to modern shooters because thats its direct competition.

As a new concept it blows everything out of the water. It innovates so much and tries so many new things it astounds me.

On the other hand it executes its mechanics in a very underwhelming fashion. It's like current electric motors in cars, big promises, and does the same thing (shooters) in a totally different way (parkour and super team focus). But at the base it seems very underwhelming, with maps that get rather repetitious, seriously lacking in campaign, and a rough start with the horrid 360 display bugs, PSN being down, and over all it still feels like a shooter with a more flashy move system.

Brink is limiting itself, and I wish it wasnt so.
