So, first off I would have to say BRINK for me is a breath of fresh air in gaming right now. Nothing is being released that has any anticipation for a while.

When I first played I knew it would be different for the most part, I guess I could compare it to games like Team Fortress things of that nature, but they really tried something new and I think it payed off.
I mainly only play Halo/CoD like most people on 360 looking to play FPS Games.BRINK, has been the best game i have bought this year and would have to be my favorite FPS right now. Reason being the FPS genre is just very stale, and BRINK brought some freshness to the whole genre. Sure there might be a learning curve at first due to the abilities and classes and things like that but, even with the lag right now I still get solid gameplay which is great.

So with that being said I personally would say BRINK is my favorite FPS out right now, so time to let those call of duty disc's get dusty.

BRINK is literally call of duty 4 + mirror's edge + team fortress 2 though with a complete focus on objectives and teamwork.

I would not compare it to any of todays FPS games. Just...doesn't work

Ok like i stated there is lag in the public online. Most games have someone wrong the first week they drop.

Would say better since is not actually a move,crouch,walk,shot game..Here you actually take skills to win or kill.And without saying the amazing parkour

Yeah I would agree with that completely. It doesn't have the I'm a one man army feel at all.
(well you can kill a lot of people on your own BUT you won't win playing in the I'm a one man army state of mind)

i have to hand it to SD they are doing something out of the box here and yeah some lag probs but for the most part it is a great game and and even better concept and for that i give everyone who had a hand in the make a big pat on the back.

This game could be amazing online but its the fact that they don't have dedicated servers for console players that ruins it for me

The coop missions are fun but the competitive MP leaves a lot to be desired.

if it was an actually working game I would say better, but the huge amount of bugs/issues leaves this game to the sub par catergory and me wanting my money back

Im sure teh CoD games never had bugs ..check CoD 2 still have bugs/issues and is out forever.Besides this glich/bugs can be and will be fixed.If you dont like games with bugs then better wait 6months.

ya I understand new games have glitches that take time to fix, but this game is LITTERED with them to the point it ruins the game. Example: MW2 had a glitch with the dual shotguns being too accurate. Thats one gun being problematic, this game can't get a single output right. Visual glitches, sound glithches, lag problems. Want me to continue?

Better than Black Ops or Reach, but not as good as Halo 3.

As i said bugs/gliches that can be fixed.And also not all of the people have Lag,visual gliches,sound gliches..is bad that not all can enjoy the game for some gliches but is not unplayable..i mean i have the worst internet ever and even make 2 friends to co op with me without lag.

BRINK is a win.

BRINK is a sick-terrific-electrifying game. I bought it even after I saw some failure reviews. In BRINK, I saw the immense potential of this new kind of FPS lighting up our virtual world of video games (wich is awesome by the way). Indeed the game has some irregularities and bugs at this moment (a lot less since the update) but it is sooo fun. They innovated and took the risk. Customization Mode is a fantastic and very vast. I also think that Xbox 360 is the right console to play this game multiplayer.

Future is bright for this new franchise. We should see some new maps DLC soon. Lights on BRINK.

Actually a much better and far simpler way to say it is that it's exactly like ET:Quake Wars w/out vehicles and with Parkour added in.

I usually play military fps so this is a nice change of pace, Im just having a tuff time getting used to it.I just started playing today so I really cant compare just yet.

It's not CoD which pleases me to no end. Finally a game that does something different and tries to break the mold.

Brink has definitely put a curve on their FPS and it has done really well. The only thing I think needs done is 1) MP lobby 2) different co-op story or maps other than the same single player. If these were done it would take the cake on the FPS genre.

Kind of a weird poll, OP. Brink's better than some, worse than others. I like the emphasis on team work and objectives, it puts it firmly above CoD and the like. But it's still pretty flawed at it's core, and BC2 is a mile better.
