How does one make a new summon spell "TwinSouls" sum

Post » Thu Aug 25, 2016 10:25 am

Made a new summon and I'd like it to be affected by the twin souls perk (be able to summon two of this summon), but I have yet to see how this is done. I've checked out the summon spells via the CK and I don't see anything related to the twin sould perk. Anyone figure this out already?

You have to add the spell to the list in the twin souls perk in the perk menu branch. An easy way to check how to do it is select a summon that you already know works with twin souls, press the right mouse button over it and select "use info" from the drop down menu. This will show you every instance in the CK that uses the summon spell and you should be able to figure it out from there

I dunno about this. I opened the twin souls perk and all I see are Conditions: That conjuration has to be 100, and that the perks below it are required. And then the perk entry that changes the summon value to 2 instead of 1. I don't see any list.

I also right clicked on all the thrall spells as well as their magic effects and the only list I see used is the werewolfdispellist in the formlists menu. unless "werewolf dispel list" means something completely different I don't think that will do the trick.

Edit: wait. looks like keywords in the magic effect menu were my problem. apparently the dremora conjuration spells have a MagicSummonShock keyword for some reason. what the hell?

I think the only requirement is the archetype on the Magic Effect form. You should be able to test the inverse easily. If summoning yours dispels a familiar, then the game is counting, and so the Twin souls perk should do what you want.

Yeah I'm able to conjure two of my spell now. I needed the magic effect MagicSummonShock for some reason. must be some thing bethesda added to the dremora summons for convenience.
