Hi all

During the last beta I saw a few people with a red rank symbol above their heads , they seem to be the same level as me.

So is the system similar to DDO ? when you level to say 50 then have to level to 50 again on the same toon to get rank 2 ?

I'm not sure but as far as I saw in the beta I think you just get rank by how many players you have killed.

After rank 50 are these veteran ranks. The last veteran rank is 10. But I've seen it to, where people had the red rank symbol above there head, not sure if it means veteran rank though.

There are PvE levels 1-50, then VR1 -.

PvP has a different ranking system called Alliance Ranks. You get a title with each rank that you can set if you choose. Alliance Rank opens up Assault and Support skill trees for the alliance war. You climb alliance ranks by gaining alliance points through killing players, defending and taking resources, healing other players, etc.

ok does vr1 -10 grant any thing like leveling? or is it just for looks?
