I've seen mods that allow the player to use Power Armor without the Power Armor Training perk, but if you have the perk, you get increased carry weight. I want to do the same thing, but rather than simply download a mod, I'd like to do it myself. The way I figure it, if I do it myself, I expand my knowledge of the GECK, and the more I learn, the less I will need to find mods that do exactly what I'm looking for. Now, I looked at the Stealth Suit Mk II in Old World Blues, as that seems to do things the way I want: one Enchantment effect normally, and as certain conditions are met, the Enchantment effect changes. I found the Object Effect, but it has the full functionality, as if you were using Firmware 1.04 (so +25 Sneak, +1 Perception, +20% Move Speed); there are no lesser versions. I poked around a bit, but couldn't figure out how the game restricts what effects appear on the armor. The scripts attached to the armor seem to deal exclusively with the Equip/Unequip barks, and I don't understand the Quest window at all, so I don't know if the information I want is there (though it seems not to be; most stuff seems to be empty, except for the dialogue for both the Stealth Suit and the K9000/FIDO weapons). How did the devs actually get only part of the Object effect to be active at any given time, and how did they set it up so that completing the testing causes more effects to become available?
