Maybe it's me being ocd but I have been trying to figure out how the dwellers survive outside the shelter while waiting to come in, isn't the point of the shelter to protect them from the outside? Thanks lol

Here's my question: Does the HAPPINESS of waiting/queued dwellers affect the entire happiness of the Vault?

I am capped at 200 dwellers. I have 2 dwellers waiting outside to get in. Naturally, they cannot. However their happiness is at 50%. Does that affect the overall happiness of my Vault?

They aren't part of your vault's population.

I can see that, and thank you for the response. However that does not really answer my question. They have Happiness...it stands to reason that because of this....their Happiness is part of the overall Happiness of my Vault. If indeed a 'waiting' dweller's Happiness if NOT part of the overall Happiness of the vault, then they would not have a Happiness rating until such time as they are placed into a room / invited into the Vault.

Semantics I know....but important semantics never-the-less.
