How Does Time Pass In "The Witcher 2"?

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 10:04 pm

So the "Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition" has been released on the XBox 360 and for an Action Adventure game with RPG elements it's pretty good.

So I'm in Flotsam and my biggest worry at the moment is accidentally sending the Main Quest hurtling along before I've completed my side quests.

So what I want to know is how does time pass in my adventure?

I can "meditate" until a certain hour of day and I'm supposed to "meet somone in the evening" but will the time of day stay forever mid-day until I force time to advance?

If you know, please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Az

No. You can meditate all you want and you want block out any side quests. completing certain quests and progressing the main story will do that though. Check out the Witcher Wiki if you need.

It progresses I believe its around 15 in game minutes per 1 minutes real life.

Meditating is the quickest way to get to that time of day however but it doesn't stand still for you.

Well none of that really answers the question but I'm happy to post in the Witcher Merged thread and hopefully someone who's playd the game can tell me.

I'll see if I can get this one closed.
