i hear a lot of stuff about how great mod are but i still cannot work out how to install them :s

if anybody can help me or knows a site that can help me please post me

TESNexus-You may have to create an account. The larger problem here is going to be making sure you install it correctly without funking your game up

Once you've downloaded them, there should be a readme inside the file.

Normally it's dragging an .esp (and, if included, meshes, textures etc...) file into your Oblivion\Data directory. Some mods come packaged as OMODS and require OBMM to install.
