How exactly do you "JAHO"

I just looked up JAHO on Urban Dictionary. Didn't realize it started here. :P

My advice is, you can't think about it when you ask her, you just gotta ask her. Don't thinkabout it, just do it. Put your Balls to the wall and ask her out. I prefer first dates as bowling dates, more talking that way.

Also, I love how JAHO is the new acryonym, its hilarious

I killed 53,595 zombies in Left4Dead, will that help?

If she's a gamer-girl; yes. ;)

But seriously, Just asking her out works wonders. Find something that both of you could enjoy (A movie is a good start), and ask her if she'll go with you to the movie.

Of course, its best if she realizes you even exist before you do that. :)

Think of something really engaging and interesting to do on your date. Go to a place with a lot of 'conversation starters'. After you have the scenario in your head, it won't seem that difficult to ask a girl you like to go with you.

Easy thing for now is to ask her "Wanna hang out later?"

Then you'll have plenty of time to think up something nice. I usually go for places which are nice (but cheap too) on first dates. Like a walk in the park or a trip to the community pool, or something like that.

Just call her (remember, don't say "I'll call you tomorrow at 8" when leaving. Most girls like it when guys are unpredictable) and say "Hey, Im at the park. Wanna come and chill?" That way you don't have to spend money unnecessarily incase it turns out she's a hokerr. And you'll get plenty of time to talk and get to know each other better. Making the relationship flourish.

If you absolutely must spend money, get chips and drinks and snacks or whatever before hand. And drink them over there. Also on first dates, more often that not the girl is a bit nervous, so ask to bring a friend of hers along if she wants to. You bring a friend of yours along too, incase she agrees. If you both have friends each, not only will you be more confident, but you can have more fun, by playing games or something. (No not video games, I mean like football or catch or something). And if she decides to come by herself, that probably means she's interested, and wants to be intimate.

It's a win either way. Trust me, you can never go wrong when you listen to me. The Art of Holy Assassination. :toughninja:

I've had guys say this to me before. It generally just confuses me a lot. "Wait what? Is this a date or just friends getting together?" "If I say I want to take a friend, am I saying I don't like him? If I say I don't want to take a friend, is he gonna think I'm desperate?" Sorta feels like the guy either doesn't want to spend time alone with me or thinks of me just as a friend.

Well it's good to know people are taking my advice. :D

Anyway, all they're thinking is "I need to try and make her as comfortable as possible, no matter what it takes." If you like the guy, say "I'll just come on my own."

But remember, if he asks you out then adds that "You can bring a friend along" then he actually wants a date. If he starts with "Bring your friends with you." Then he just wants a friendly gathering. You gotta pay attention to timing. ;)

Find a common interest, invite her to share it with you some time. Easy.

EDIT: Totally don't bring along a third wheel. Way to sink your own ship...

How about each one brings their own set of wheels?

No third, fourth, or any other additional wheels. A couple are a motorbike, and no sidecar is needed.

What if it's like the Bat-mobile where it starts out as a car, but then turns into a motorbike midway?

But a couple with a third or fourth wheel can really have a good time. :hubbahubba:

That just makes no sense to me... It's not a date if there's more than just the two of you there. :P What telling her to invite someone else along implies, to me (and probably to girls/women in general), is that you don't want to spend time alone, misunderstand the use of the words "Would you like to go on a date with me?" and think it means spending time as friends, or you regret asking her out and are trying to sneakily get out of going on a date. Now I know that's not necessarily the case, but the girl the OP's planning on asking out doesn't - so I'd advise against this bit of advice, tbh. When this has been said to me (in pretty much the exact context you described), I've just gotten confused and tried to get out of going on the so-called "date" at all.

This information does clear up two very weird situations I've had in the past, if what you're saying is something more than just you does. Huh. :ermm:

Precisely, it's not a date. It's "hanging out". Dates come later. I don't know about other people, but I get to atleast know the girl somewhat before an actual, solo, one on one, date.

But perhaps if that's the way girls take it, it would be better to not add that into the pitch. OP do not ask her to bring friends!

Although, to be honest, it's never failed me personally. Im only going by what Im hearing here on the forum..

But if you first ask her out and then go and say she can bring friends along, it's just plain confusing. It's like "let's go out on a date! Except it's not gonna be a date!"

Well, maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about. Who knows, maybe where you come from girls find mixed signals a huge turn-on. :P

Everything I do is a huge turn on.

But yes, I understand your logic. Remember though, guys are humans too, we, atleast I, tend to mess up and add extra information to fix the problem, usually making it worse. Kinda like what Im doing right now.. :ermm:

The first mistake you can make with women is over think things. So that is why I don't put much weight in the specifics presented in dating threads. How have I asked girls out? "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

If a girl seems interested in you it is probably because she actually is.
